I read a lot of books on Mindful Meditation. I am currently reading “Buddha’s Brain” by Rick Hanson PH.D. with Richard Mendius, MD. It is a comprehensive book that explains how the brain works and what we can do to train our mind to reduce suffering and increase happiness. There is insight to how much our habits and lack of attention to what is going on in our lives, bodies and minds hinder our health and relationships. And includes simple exercises to encourage better understanding of our ability to improve our lives. I highly recommend this book, even if you have little knowledge of neurophysiology, it is easy to understand the more technical descriptions of the areas of the brain and what they do. Happy Reading!
